Postbridge Family Dog Show
Every
summer there is a Family Dog Show in Postbridge Village.
There are usually 15 fun classes with
rosettes to 6th place and
trophies for
class winners. Each entrant receives some treats for their dog.
Entry fees are £1 and all the proceeds go to charity each year.
Including the raffle and the show entry fees, we raised £460 for the
Cinnamon Trust
in 2008.
The Show is held in the field opposite the Village Shop and adjacent to the
ancient clapper bridge. There are toilets in the National Park car park
across the road from the field. Entries are from 12:30, judging from
13:30.
In 2009 the Dog Show will be held on Sunday 26th July.

There is free parking in the field for exhibitors. The field has shady areas at the top end and is bordered by the East Dart river at the bottom end.
